Schneider Electric IoT Program Lead in Andover, Massachusetts


Within Schneider Digital, the Digital Factory serves to accelerate Schneider Electric digital transformation by enabling and supporting the Businesses in building, delivering and operating at scale digital offers. Digital Factory provided a set of capabilities to support Schneider’s digital offers entire lifecycle from the ideation and incubation stage to delivery and operation at scale.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the operational projects portfolio for a department of IoT & Digital Offer. This portfolio is mainly made of Business & Platforms projects.

  • Optimize the resources assignment accordingly to budget and priorities and manage arbitration

  • Control the project execution in compliance with IoT & Digital Offer framework

  • Monitor the projects progress (Key Stage Gates, Costs / Labor, Expenses, Founding)

  • Organize and manage the projects reporting on a regular basis

  • In case of any deviation, support Project Managers to propose and implement corrective actions

  • Ensure the consistency and reliability of data in the reporting tools (Applicable to IoT & Digital Offer practice).

2. Support and coordinate project efficiency

  • Guide and motivate the Project Leadership team to achieve the project objectives. Coach them.

  • Identify & Monitor projects’ risks and track to secure the successful mitigation plan

  • Coordinate the decision-making process at project level

  • Setup & Lead the Department Project Steering Committee to manage projects progress and Stage Gates decisions (Schedule, Risks, Project costs, Change Requests, Deviation, Quality, Customers commitments, …)

3. Deploy the IoT & Digital Offers culture, models and best practices

  • Participate to the IoT & Digital Offers Projects community animation

  • Contribute to the Excellence IoT & Digital Offers Projects execution

  • Implement all needed processes, procedures compliant with IoT & Digital Offers

4. Monitor quality metrics compliance of IoT & Digital Offers

  • Report project & department quality metrics compliant with IoT & Digital Offers

  • Lead continuous and quality improvements’ plan

Capabilities / Skills / Experience:

Bachelor degree is required and in Engineering would be a differentiator

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Project Management or Program Management Office

Solid and successful experience in project/program management.

Proven experience in leading Lean and Agile processes

Transformational and Change Management leadership skills

Effective communicator committed to fostering a “team” approach and successful results

Influence and Convince

Strong team player, ability to work successful with teams in an international and multi-sites environment.

English mandatory
