The Intern will be a member of the Retail Industry Solutions group and will report to the Director of Industry Solutions. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to assist in a wide variety of projects covering consumer insights, industry research, competitive intelligence and business value analysis. He or she will also be available on an as-needed basis to learn from and help with other projects in the broader industry team
Supporting the articulation of Salesforce’s retail industry business value proposition and continuous refinement of tools, content assets, and industry perspective to support the commercial organization and other internal stakeholders
Researching the industry’s competitive environment and producing reports summarizing key updates and suggested action items
Supporting the generation win/loss reports on ongoing commercial engagements
Working closely with the Industry Solutions team to provide miscellaneous support on ongoing initiatives in the form of data gathering, content creation, and administrative tasks
Pursuing a college undergraduate degree in applicable area of study that may include general business, marketing, communications, or journalism
Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling (potential screening test may be included)
Ability to synthesize large amount of data into succinct summaries
Ability to take direction and seek clarity
Clear and concise verbal and written communication
