Colwen Hotels Warehouse Assistant in Hooksett, New Hampshire

Colwen Design & Purchasing is seeking a Warehouse Assistant for their Hooksett, NH Headquarters.

Typical hours will be Monday through Friday from 8 AM until 5:00 PM.

You will be primarily responsible for the safe and accurate preparation of shipments for delivery to construction

sites, as well as receipt of new materials and the maintenance & organization of the warehouse. Delivering materials to job sites may be required on occasion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing, loading & unloading shipments & deliveries.

  • Performing inventory cycle counts

  • Upholding Colwen Design & Purchasing’s policies and standards

  • Ensuring proper, accurate, and timely dispatch of outbound shipments.

  • Ensuring proper, accurate and timely receipt of inbound deliveries

  • Ensuring proper storage and handling of all materials.

  • Maintaining documentation for all orders shipped and


  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • Clean driving record and must be able to drive both manual and

automatic transmissions.

  • Must be able to operate a fork lift and pallet jack

  • Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card

  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.

  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Understanding of safe work practices.

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills for

interactions with vendors and other departments.

  • Familiarity with computer and smartphones for retrieval and entering of data.

  • Knowledge of Outlook and MS Office

  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.

  • Experience with inventory control software is a big plus but not required

  • Must be a dependable and self-motivated team-player.
