Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Manufacturing of medical devices, performing preventive maintenance (PM’s) of electromechanical systems, along with troubleshooting and repair of high volume automated equipment, all within a team environment.

This role is part of our Second Shift and the hours are Monday through Thursday, 3:45pm to 2:15am

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose/troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies using digital voltmeters (DVM), schematics and online databases.

  • Perform critical machine alignments to ensure product specifications are met.

  • Data collection and recording of sample measurements on device history records (DHR).

  • Support manufacturing engineering as required.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

  • Support manufacturing requirements by performing production level duties.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, standard operating procedures, work instructions, quality system regulations, and good manufacturing practices.

  • Perform other duties as required.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent


  • 1-2 years of demonstrated working experience troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical assemblies/parts which include, but not limited to, gear assemblies, bearing/bushings, electrical motors, pneumatics and sensors.


  • Working knowledge of sensors, motors, pneumatics and mechanical assemblies.

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematics, drawings and/or wiring diagrams.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications ( word, excel, etc)

Physical Demands

  • Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 40 pounds.

  • Exposure to moving electromechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.
