We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager with a strong background in all aspects of Human Resources at our Corporate office located in Woburn, MA.

The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in leading the HR Team and in the growth of the organization. The HR Manager will have full oversight of all human resources activities including compliance, performance management, and recruitment strategy and initiatives.

  • Building strong relationships by being in the field and/or engaged with employees

  • Employee Relations including formulating responses and develops recommendations on employee relations issues.

  • Succession Planning and talent management

  • Workers compensation safety, claims prevention and claims management

  • Backup for all key responsibilities of HR Team

Oversees and provides HR team assistance in:

  • Recruiting needs including the posting and un-posting of job ads, phone screens, interviewing, and providing stores job search supplies such as posters, bumper stickers, and banners.

  • Pre-employment screenings (input into systems, monitoring results, tracking status)

  • New hire orientation packets and onboarding orientations

  • ADP Onboarding data entry

  • I9 Compliance (organizing, auditing and safe keeping)

  • Forms and procedures (creating, updating, and compliance)

  • Safety communications (creating and topic selection)

  • Bi-weekly payroll and processes

  • Administration of health, dental and life insurance bills, auditing all billing statements for eligible employees using census and payroll deductions

  • Auditing of benefits plans on a regular basis

  • Administration of 401k plan, including 401k quarterly enrollments, loans, hardships, payouts, and coordinates information with Fidelity Investments.

  • 401k year end clean up, compliance testing and year-end audit.

  • Coordinates with insurance companies to resolve employee insurance issues and escalations.

  • Assist in annual open enrollment period during the 1st quarter of each new plan year to include: Materials from carriers, communication changes to employees/answering questions, assists with employee presentations. Process changes within deadlines. Assist with new hire enrollments as well

  • Bachelors of Business Administration with concentration in Human Resources or similar

  • 8+ years’ experience in a Human Resources Management position

  • Solid understanding of Human Resources procedures, principles and concepts

  • Solid understanding of Federal and State regulations governing employment

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and presentations.

  • Proficiency with MS Office products

  • Hands on experience with an HRIS or HRMS (ADP preferred)

  • Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases (iCIMS preferred)

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to facilitate situations involving conflict and maintain highly confidential information

  • Position will require travel within New England and NY and may require travel to other States

  • This position reports to the Managing Director
